Why Grasp
Grasp is an agentic AI platform for finance. The $1.4 trillion financial advisory industry relies heavily on costly and scarce cognitive labor. The industry is so inefficient that advisory firms can charge millions of dollars for teams of junior employees, whose work is 90% manual and repetitive. It is clear that AI will automate large parts of this work and provide a massive uplift in productivity.
Grasp is used by 250 of the world’s largest finance institutions, including PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, and EY, to automate complex company and market research workflows. We’re growing 4x per year, will double headcount this year from 30 employees, and are backed by globally renowned investors such as Octopus Ventures and Yanno Capital.
Role
As the first Talent Manager at Grasp, you will build our recruiting function from scratch. You will work closely with team managers to shape roles, build and run innovative sourcing strategies, and architect interview processes that sharply assess talent while still being a seamless and professional candidate experience. You will report directly to the CEO.
The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. We use an in-person work model and offer relocation assistance to new employees. We offer unlimited access to tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor and expect you to use this to automate your workflows to the fullest extent (for example content creation, sourcing, and outreach).
Your responsibilities will include:
Work closely with team managers to design and shape roles, pinpointing the characteristics that are required to thrive in the role.
Proactively identify and engage exceptional talent through creative sourcing strategies, events, and targeted outreach.
Design rigorous, high-signal interview processes that accurately assess ability, drive, and cultural fit - while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience.
Build strong relationships and convert top candidates into hires.
Create content, join meetups, and host events to champion our ambition and culture to engage elite talent.
Leverage tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor to automate your workflows to scale yourself.
Skills and requirements
For this role you should have:
Proven track record of hiring high-performing talent in early-stage startups or scaleups.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Motivation to operate in ambiguity and build processes from scratch.
Experience hiring for technical roles (engineering, product, AI) is a strong plus.
